Marine Range-Gated Camera
The Range-Gated Camera provides long-range (up to 4 km) surveillance with high contrast images regardless of environmental conditions (fog, snow, rain, smoke, dust).
It contains a pulse laser (for the scene illumination) and a high-speed optical sensor. Due to built-in AI processing, the camera captures a series of images at high speed, each of which shows a narrow depth region of space, and the combination of such images creates a three-dimensional representation of the observed scene.
The camera captures images in the range of UV emission (250-380 nm). Working in this range makes it possible to record various kinds of processes that are not visible to the human eye or to optical instruments (rocket launches, damage of insulation in high voltage electrical equipment etc.)
This camera uses Range-Gated technology combined with a laser designed for underwater scene illumination. This approach makes it possible to observe various objects in the water column, obtaining high-contrast images of observed objects at distances up to 300 m. Such effect cannot be achieved by any of the currently used underwater observation technologies.
